Ball Bearings

Ball bearings are the most commonly used bearings. Designed for high speeds and require very little maintenance. They are simple yet versatile and are available in a wide range of designs. We produce these Ball bearings from 3mm ID up to 1000mm OD in various series including most commonly used 60xx, 62xx, 63xx series. Standard production includes open bearings, sealed bearings and shielded bearings. Special clearance, tolerance and lubrication class can be produced for special application or request.

UC-bearings

UC-bearings

UC-Bearings are also known as insert-bearings. UC -bearing units provide efficient and cost-effective solutions for numerous applications. These bearing units consists of housing, bearings and a seal, and can accommodate light initial misalignment. Boston Bearings UC bearing units are provided specially strong resistance against rust and corrosion through a specially developed coating by Boston Bearings partners. This provides Boston Bearings Black series UC bearing units extra performance in operations, low need for maintenance and allows to them extra life, as compared to competitors. These bearings are produced in UC 2xx. AEL 2xx and UK 2xx series.

Angular contact Ball bearings

Angular Contact Ball Bearings are designed to accommodate radial and axial loads simultaneously. At, Boston Bearings, these angular contact ball bearings are produced in variety of designs, including single-row and double-row angular contact bearings.Angular contact Ball Bearings are manufactured in various constructive versions with various contact angles. These bearings are generally produced with Phenol resins cages and machines brass cages. 70xx, 72xx, 73xx are produced from 10mm ID up to 250mm OD. Special tolerance bearings for special applications can be produced on request.

Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-Aligning Ball Bearings are designed to be tolerate misalignment of the shaft. These bearings consist of 2 rows of balls, that are held by a cage. Boston’s Self-Aligning Ball Bearings are designed to generate less friction than competing brands and remain cool, allowing them to operate smoothly at higher speeds. As a standard, Boston Bearing self aligning ball bearings are fitted with pressed cages of sheet. At special request, when bearings operate under fluctuating loads, at high speeds and where large sizes are required, machined brass cages are recommended. 12xx, 13xx and 23xx series are produced from 5mm ID up to 240mm OD.

Spherical Roller bearings

Spherical roller bearings use rollers to reduce friction and manage the loads. They consist of 2 rows of rollers, inserted into various types of cages, that roll on a common raceway to reduce friction. They are designed to tolerate misalignment of the shaft and can accommodate heavy radial as well as axial loads in both directions. Boston Bearings Spherical Rollers Bearings are produced in many variants including Machined cage guided on inner ring rib, Machined cage guided on outer ring rib. These bearings are produced in Steel as well as Brass cage to suit different applications. Special heat treatment methods are applied to increase hardness to a certain range and enhance abrasive resistance of material. For different applications, these bearings can be produced in various clearance and tolerance levels.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings

Cylindrical roller bearings are produced by Boston Bearings in many designs, for many different application requirements. These types of roller bearings are mainly used in applications of high speeds with heavy radial loads. Cylindrical Roller Bearings are manufactured in Single-Row and Double-Row full-compliment designs, for requirements ranging from high speed and heavy radial load to very heavy radial loads. Depending on applications, different types of clearance and tolerance levels are available.

Tapered roller bearings

Taper Roller Bearings are designed to accommodate radial and axial loads simultaneously. In these types of bearings, rollers contact the inner surface at an agle, due the raceways being tapered, thus giving these bearings their name. Greater angle signifies greater axial load bearing capacity. These bearings are manufactured in single, Double and four row designs to cater for a range of very demanding applications.
